Jonathan helped us manage a divorce for my elderly mother. We had hired, and fired, two previous lawyers who were either non responsive, or failed to pursue aspects of the case that were in our best interests. In one instance, the Defendant had refused to voluntarily provide a financial disclosure, and instead of filing with the court as we demanded, the lawyer lectured us on the importance of appearing reasonable to the judge, and instructed us to “find another lawyer” if we disagreed. It was the only good advice she ever provided.
Jonathan took the case and immediately filed to force the disclosure, which, unsurprisingly, divulged a six-figure asset subject to equitable distribution that we had no idea existed.
Ultimately the divorce resolved amicably with a settlement agreement prior to trial. I’d highly recommend Jonathan and his very capable and responsive support team.
